Sotheby’s Made In Britain Auction Results

Sotheby’s Made In Britain auction took place earlier this week with lots available from such photographers as Richard Hamilton, Chris Levine and David Bailey. The auction reached a sales total of £2,193,880 after it’s close on Tuesday afternoon.

The most expensive photographic lot was Chris Levine’s 3D portrait of Banksy, which sold at it’s lowest estimate of £30,000.

Levine’s 3D portrait of Queen Elizabeth Lightness of Being, 2010 was the second most expensive photographic lot which sold beyond its original estimates of £8,000-£12,000 for £18,750.

The third most expensive lot went to Rob Munday’s Naturalium 1, 2017 (featured) which sold for £15,000 – well under its original estimate of £25,000-£35,000.
