Christie’s Visionaries: Photographs from the Emily and Jerry Spiegal Collection

This long-awaited auction will finally take place this week (10th October 2017) at Christie’s New York, in what is a very busy week for Christie’s New York Photography department. The auction will take place on Tuesday at 2pm, after the Photographs Including Property from the Museum of Modern Art Auction at Christie’s New York, with 40 lots available to bid on by artists such as Paul Strand, Alvin Langdon Coburn, Edward Weston, Man Ray, Andre Kertesz, Alfred Stieglitz, Lady Clementine Hawarden, Julia Margaret Cameron, Sally Man and Brassai, among others.

Estimates range from $2,000, to $700,000 – for Paul Strand’s ‘Rebecca, New York’.
