Taking place online from 18th to 27th February the annual Now! Auction brought together contemporary and 20th century art from design and sculpture to paintings and photography. Photographic lots included work by Peter Lindbergh, Bert Stern and Henri Cartier-Bresson with estimates ranging from €800 to €18,000.
By the close of sales on 27th the photographic lot with the highest bid was Robert Mapplethorpe’s Jill Chapman and Ken Moody at €15,000 – the fifth edition of ten.
The second most expensive photographic print was Bert Stern’s portrait Marilyn Monroe, Black Dior Dress, 1962 which had an estimate of €3,000-€5,000 but sold for double the top estimate at €10,625.
